1. Initial Enquiry

As all our enquiries are taken centrally, the Your New Smile team are on hand to receive all calls and emails and will asses your initial enquiry and make primary recommendations based on your requirements.

During this initial conversation with the team, along with offering you further details regarding your treatment we also provide you with details of funding options. If you wish to proceed along the route of financing your treatment, we carry out an initial application and provide you with a rough breakdown of costs to match your budget.

The next step of this process is to make an appointment for you to meet one of our friendly dentists to discuss your options further.

2. Initial Consultation

This consultation takes place at the dental practice you have selected and is a simple step to meet the dentist and the team to discuss your treatment options. The dentist will ensure that you are suitable for treatment and carry out a detailed assessment and usually take some X- rays. Once complete, you will be provided with details of all the possible treatment options, giving you time to consider each one and ask any question. Once you have made a decision, you will then receive full details of your ‘treatment plan’ along with the initial appointments arranged.

The team at Your New Smile endevour to make your journey to ‘Your New Smile’ as seamless as possible, it is our constant aim to ensure that at all times our patients know exactly what to expect and who to speak with should any questions arise. Our clinical team will be on hand to answer any questions you may have throughout your journey.

3. Treatment Planning

Every patient is assessed to identify his or her individual needs and choices during their initial consultation appointment. We aim to ensure that all patients are always fully involved in their treatment decisions and are provided with suitable information so that they can make an informed choice. This assessment and care planning procedure takes account of current guidance and research relating to the care and treatment of patients.

Next Steps

Once you have agreed the treatment option most suited to you, we make arrangements to commence your journey. Our Practice partner will arrange all the necessary appointments and you will be provided with any relevant pre-treatment instructions.

The Your New Smile team liaise regularly with the treating dentist to ensure that your treatment is going smoothly and are available at all points along the way to answer any questions.
